Join us for a Hike in the Jungle!
Come join us for a unique outdoor adventure! No hiking experience is needed.
OUR HIKE AND NATIVE FLORA TOUR INCLUDES:
A 2-mile leisure hike through open fields and rain forests,
Tasting of edible plants and discussion of their varied uses
The tour is approximately 2 hours
Morning hikes are from 10AM to 12PM
Afternoon hikes are from 11PM to 3PM
MEDITATION WALK ALONG THE CAVES BRANCH RIVER AND SPIRIT CIRCLE
This solo journey provides an opportunity to tune into nature to listen to the inner and outer sounds as you walk along the Caves Branch River and enter the Spirit Circle.
LOCAL TOUR GUIDE
Hilario, your Belizean Mayan guide will share with you his wisdom and knowledge on natural uses of some of the plants onsite. He’ll also share his stories of the ancient Mayan ways.
ALONG THE WAY...
- Weave in and out of the palm and teak tree trails,
- Discover the uses of the oils, barks, and leaves of the native palm and hardwood trees,
- Listen to the sounds of the soothing waterfalls as you traverse along the paths near the creeks,
- Bask among the abundance of the trees as you stroll along the portions of the jungle path. A path through our own little rain forest provides for a taste of the jungle with exceptional views of the Caves Branch River along the way,
- If you’re visiting during any of the harvest seasons, enjoy the freshness of the apple bananas, pineapples, or coconuts straight from the tree,
- At the end, get up close and personal and inhale the fragrant scents of the orchid variety along the Orchid Trail in the Palm Grove Circle

Directions to Belize Hiking Tours:
This hike is along the trails at Camino Del Rio in the Franks Eddy Village in the Cayo District of Belize.
Camino Del Rio is located off the Western Highway at mile marker 37 in the Franks Eddy Village near Belmopan.
Turn into the Franks Eddy Village and at the T intersection, make a left turn.
Follow the signs 1.9 miles to the entrance.
